Los Angeles, United States - June 25, 2025 06/24/2025 11:10 pm GMT-0700 SOUTH GATE, Calif. – Police and firefighters responded to a shooting at a shopping center in the 5800 block of Imperial Highway in South Gate. Upon arrival, they discovered one victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a press release from a homicide detective with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. It remains unclear if any suspects have been taken into custody. Homicide detectives from the sheriff’s department were on-site to assist the South Gate Police Department with the investigation into the fatal shooting.
