US, Bakersfield: Bakersfield Train Burglary Caught on Camera
Bakersfield, United States - June 25, 2025 06/25/2025 12:15 am GMT-0700 BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Several individuals were seen near N Street and 14th Street removing packages from Amazon containers on a freight train in downtown Bakersfield early Wednesday morning. Witnesses reported multiple people taking packages from the train tracks. Employees from City Guard, a security company hired by the city of Bakersfield, were observed collecting the packages to return them to the railroad company. The packages, which had address labels, were en route for delivery to several locations, including Stockton, Manteca, and Petrolia. Law enforcement was notified but had not arrived at the scene to take a report.
