This video was captured on May 9, 2025, around 21:45 in Shkodra, Albania. A strange light appeared in the night sky, grew rapidly in brightness, split into two parts, and vanished at high speed. Moments later, it reappeared in the same place and vanished
On May 9th, 2025, at approximately 21:45 in Shkodra, Albania, I personally observed an extraordinary event in the night sky. A small light appeared unexpectedly and began to grow brighter and larger. Within seconds, the light split into two distinct parts, then suddenly disappeared at a shocking speed. Only minutes later, the same phenomenon occurred again in the exact same area of the sky.
The evening had just followed a rainfall, and the sky was mostly clear except for a denser cloud formation where the object appeared. I looked around to check if the moon or any known light sources could be causing this, but the moon was on the opposite side, making that impossible.
I have always been fascinated by the sky and phenomena like this. I’ve looked up countless times and never seen anything close to what I witnessed that night. I instinctively grabbed my phone and managed to record the event both times it occurred. The video is completely real and unedited.
I believe this footage could be of interest to those investigating aerial phenomena or unidentified flying objects. I’m also open to discussing licensing options.
