On June 17, 2025, in East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, @susilohimawan shared a video of Mount Lewotobi Laki-laki erupting with intense force. In the video, the volcano is seen spewing a towering ash cloud reaching up to 11 kilometers (32,800 feet) high. Authorities raised the eruption alert to the highest level and expanded the danger zone to 8 kilometers around the crater. The ash plume formed a mushroom-shaped cloud visible from 90 to 150 kilometers away, as the volcano recorded 50 eruptions in just two hours, far above the daily average.
