Israel: Motorcyclists Catch Driver Fleeing Under the Influence in Southern Israel
Israel - June 26, 2025 During routine patrol activity on Highway 406 in southern Israel, national motorcycle unit officers spotted a suspicious vehicle. When signaled to stop, the driver fled, dangerously running red lights. A brief chase ended in the arrest of both the driver and a passenger—residents of Rahat. Authorities discovered the car was unfit for road use since April 2025, the driver’s license expired in 2021, and he was under the influence of alcohol. The driver was detained for questioning, the passenger released, and the vehicle impounded for 30 days.
