This is the heartwarming moment newborn kittens were rescued after being trapped in a family's ceiling.

Sukanthika heard faint meowing above the bedroom and discovered two tabby kittens stuck inside the crawl space in Saraburi Province, Thailand.

Footage shows the woman gently poking through wooden panels, revealing one of the kitten's tiny feet on June 21.

She then carefully removed the covering and pulled the animals to safety.

However, Sukanthika noticed that one of the kittens had an injured limb, prompting her to drive them to a veterinarian.

In another clip, the rescued furry creatures can be seen being nursed with a syringe filled with milk inside their cage.

Sukanthika said: 'One of them had an injury in its arm, so I took them to the doctor and brought them back home to my family. We named them Lucky and Money, and I decided to adopt the cats.'
