US, Los Angeles: Lancaster Over 100 Cars Burn in Junkyard Fire
Los Angeles, United States - June 25, 2025 06/25/2025 05:37 am GMT-0700 LANCASTER, Calif. – At approximately 5:37 a.m. Wednesday, the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a report of a significant fire at a junkyard located at Sierra Highway and Avenue I. The fire reportedly involved around 100 vehicles, prompting a large-scale response from fire crews. The Los Angeles County Health Department was also requested to the scene due to potential air quality concerns. As a result of the fire, Sierra Highway and Avenue I were closed to ensure public safety and to facilitate better access for the fire department.
