Los Angeles, United States - June 27, 2025 06/26/2025 10:30 pm GMT-0700 LONG BEACH, Calif. — Late Thursday night, the Long Beach Police Department and Long Beach Fire Department responded to a fatal motorcycle collision at the intersection of Redondo Avenue and Anaheim Street. First responders arrived to find the motorcycle rider unconscious and not breathing. Despite attempts to administer lifesaving measures, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Witness accounts differ regarding the circumstances of the incident. Some witnesses suggest it may have been a hit-and-run, while others believe the rider struck a curb, was ejected from the motorcycle, and subsequently collided with a street pole. The Long Beach Police Department has initiated an active investigation into the incident and has requested a body shield and street barricades to secure the area.
