Train crashes into truck killing driver in California
A train crashed into a truck, killing its driver in California.
Aerial footage shows the aftermath of the collision with the locomotive stopped and the crushed vehicle pinned at its front in Ventura County on June 25.
Metrolink train number 118 was carrying 11 people onboard when it struck the trailer at a private farmland crossing at around 2:15 pm.
Emergency responders confirmed the truck driver was killed on the scene, while a passenger sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the incident.
Train service to Ventura East Station was temporarily limited to Moorpark.
