Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has been spotted stepping on a boat follow his extravagant wedding in Venice.

Billionaire Bezos, 61, tied the knot with former journalist, Lauren Sanchez, 55, on Friday 27 June on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, Italy, across the water from St Mark's Square in Venice.

The star-studded event was estimated to cost £37m - with A-list guests in attendance including Leonardo DiCaprio, Bill Gates, Oprah Winfrey Kris Jenner and Kim and Khloe Kardashian.

Holiday-maker Hanna Eiddon, 24, was on a girls trip with friends in Venice, Italy, when she spotted Bezos the day after the wedding, on 28 June, stepping onto a boat while being "swarmed" by paparazzi."

In the clip - captured at around 3pm local time - Bezos can be seen taking the hand of woman and helping her on the boat.

Although her face is obscured by a large sun hat, Hanna believes the woman with Bezos was his new wife, Lauren.

Hanna - who was taking a gondola boat at the time - said Jeff "waved" at her group, and their boat proceeded to follow his down canal as paparazzi boats "raced" after him. "

Hanna, from Machynlleth, Wales, said: "It was really crazy - there were so many paparazzi swarming him. "

"We had no idea he was going to be there."

"It was really random."

"We were waiting for our gondola ride and there were hundreds of people waiting outside of the hotel."

"We had no idea why."

"I had a gondola booked, so had to get through everyone to get on it."

"I couldn't believe it when we saw him and got the perfect view. "

"I assume it was his wife as he's holding her hand."

"He started waving to people and waved right at us."

"It was so cool."

"Our boat followed after his but we couldn't see him as he went down underneath on his. "

"But paparazzi boats were speeding by after him."

Hanna - who went to Venice with four friends for a long weekend - said they had "no idea" Jeff Bezos was going to be on the neighbouring island for his wedding that same weekend until they arrived. "

"We saw on Facebook when we arrived he was there getting married," she said."



"The night of the wedding, we were sat in St Mark's Square having dinner."

"We looked on the map and the island where he was getting married was directly opposite us."

"We saw all the fireworks from the wedding too."

"I can't believe we actually saw him too."
