The Parranda de San Pedro, recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage, brings thousands together to honor promises, dance the "Sebucan," and sing of faith and tradition. Participants wear bright frock coats, ribboned "pumpa" hats, and blackface, reflecting Afro-descendant heritage.
