This is the funny moment a five-year-old boy face-plants the floor while trying to take off his backpack.

Schoolboy Oliver Gibson landed with a thud after his bag got caught around his wrists.

Ring doorbell footage shows the youngster bracing for impact as he flips his bag in the air, before face-planting the floor outside his family home.

Mum Donna says she's now given clumsy Oliver lessons on how to remove his bag to avoid future mishaps.

Donna, from Sleaford, Lincolnshire, said: "I think he was trying to get the bag off his back. "

"He's not done this before, I've had to have the discussion of how to safely remove the backpack today."

"I was a little bit behind and didn't see how he'd fallen over until I looked on the Ring this morning. We both had a laugh and thankfully no harm done."
