A pet owner dangled a snack from her mouth to keep her feline still while grooming her.

Footage shows Nicolette Concepcion holding a packet of treats between her lips as her cat Henny licked the tip in Pampanga, the Philippines.

With the animal distracted, Nicolette carefully clipped her claws, concentrating on the task as Henny remained fixated on the food.

She completed the nail trimming, but the hungry pet did not budge, too focused on finishing the reward on June 26.

Nicolette said: ‘We were preparing Henny so we can take her with us to visit some friends. She hates getting her claws trimmed so I always have a hard time doing it to her.

‘But I remembered seeing this one video back then doing that technique so it gave me the idea.'
