We were on holiday in Wyoming's Yellowstone National Park, driving on a narrow road north of the Old Faithful Geyser. About 100 American Bison, including babies and adults, were using that road to get from a southern pasture to a northern pasture. The fact that the road was full of automobiles didn't bother them one little bit. They wandered between the cars and around the cars, taking their good old time. A park ranger followed them, attempting unsuccessfully to hurry them along, using an odd "barking quack" sound (it is illegal to honk a car horn at Bison). An adult male Bison is as big as a Volkswagen Beetle; a female is more like a Fiat 500. These babies were only a couple weeks old.
