The meeting, held at a hotel in Skopje, was attended by EU Commissioner for Enlargement Olivér Várhelyi, North Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, Kosovar Prime Minister Albin Kurti, Montenegro’s Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign Affairs and European Integration Filip Ivanović, Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Borjana Krišto, and Serbian Minister for European Integration Nemanja Starović. Following the opening session, the leaders posed for a family photo, symbolizing continued dialogue between the EU and the Western Balkans. North Macedonian Prime Minister Mickoski and EU Commissioner Várhelyi later held a joint press conference, where they emphasized the importance of regional stability and progress toward EU membership. The discussions continued with a second panel focusing on concrete mechanisms and financial support for the implementation of the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans, a key initiative aimed at boosting economic development and accelerating EU accession reforms.
