Dramatic footage filmed by traveller Bianca on a flight from New York captures flashes of lightning illuminating the dark sky on Sunday, June 29.
Bianca said: 'We flew over a storm, and I am just amazed at the majesty of it all! Shout out to SouthwestAir for navigating us through and around this with minimal impact.'
The aircraft was around an hour from landing when the video was recorded, around 9:15 pm CST.
