This is the amusing moment a customer impressed his family with his unexpected skill at the popular egg cracking trick in a Japanese restaurant.

Ivan Remo Arcega Andamo Jr stunned diners when he successfully cracked an egg on a spatula and drew a heart with the whites at the Mall of Asia in Manila, the Philippines.

Footage captured by his cousin Abigael Santella shows a teppanyaki chef guiding Ivan through each step of the trick on June 16.

Moments later, he expertly bounced the egg on the spatula before tossing it into the air, where it landed on the sharp edge and cracked open.

The talented man then skillfully directed the dripping whites onto the teppanyaki griddle to form a heart shape.

The surprising display drew applause from his family and other nearby diners.

Teppanyaki is a Japanese grilling style known for combining cooking with entertaining performances.
