US, Los Angeles: Culver City CHP Officer Injured in Crash
Los Angeles, United States - July 02, 2025 07/02/2025 12:27 am GMT-0700 CULVER CITY, Calif. – At approximately 12:27 a.m., a CHP West Los Angeles officer was involved in a traffic collision on Bristol Parkway near Green Valley Circle in Culver City. Preliminary information indicates the officer's vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree under still-unconfirmed circumstances at the time of this report. The CHP officer, who was transporting an arrested individual at the time, was found unconscious but with a pulse at the scene. Fellow CHP officers immediately initiated lifesaving measures, including the administration of Narcan, after considering the possibility of a fentanyl exposure. The officer was transported by Culver City Fire Department paramedics to UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center. Their condition remains unknown as of this report. The arrestee, also involved in the crash, was transported in unknown condition to Cedars Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital. The exact cause of the crash is under investigation, and authorities have shut down the surrounding area to facilitate a thorough scene examination. CHP has not released the identities of those involved. No other vehicles were believed to be part of the incident. An additional female officer could be seen holding an ice pack on her head at the scene; it is believed she was also involved in the crash.
