This is the amusing moment a pigeon eating leftover dog food walked away with a bowl stuck on its head.

Pakboong Wilaporn spotted the toppled plastic basin on the ground with the bird trapped inside in Bangkok, Thailand.

Footage shows the pink container shifting around as the feathered creature struggles to break free on June 30.

Upon seeing this, the woman tipped the bowl up with her foot to release the pigeon.

The animal then immediately waddled away as if nothing had happened.

Pakboong said: 'I feed rice to my dog at home, but it doesn't always finish everything. There were leftover scraps in the basin, so the pigeons came to eat. They often walk along the edge of the overturned container every day, sometimes in the morning and sometimes in the evening.'
