This is the hilarious moment a Pomeranian chased a chicken, only to be forced back by the feisty bird.

CCTV footage shows the playful dog running after one of the hens around the yard in Mae Hong Son, Thailand.

However, when the pooch approached the feathered creature, it suddenly turned and charged straight at the canine on February 26.

This caused the pup to run away in fear as it was pursued by the seemingly irritated bird all around the compound.

The hapless dog can be heard barking frantically while sprinting away from the chicken, which flapped its wings before abruptly stopping on the pavement and continuing to waddle around as if nothing had happened.

Hens can be protective of their territory, food, or chicks. Even without chicks, they sometimes defend their space aggressively.
