What started as a peaceful matcha break turned into a hilarious surprise for Eileen Sanchez and her family when they unknowingly walked into a dog cafe, a popular concept in Japan where customers sip coffee surrounded by furry companions.

Among the crowd of pups lounging around, one tiny, picture-perfect poodle caught their eye, so still and adorable, they weren’t even sure it was real. When they asked the woman holding it if they could pet and film the dog, she agreed. But the moment Eileen reached out, the poodle transformed from angel to firecracker.

My family and I visited a cafe in Japan for a casual matcha. What we didn’t know is that it was a “dog cafe”. A common business idea in Japan where you can drink your coffee surrounded by doggies or cats. We didn’t think the dog was real until we got closer because it was so cute. We asked her to pet it and record it and when I went to touch the puppy she did the funniest thing. I’ll never forget it !! Such an unforgettable moment in our trip
