US, Bakersfield: Lancaster Kern Transit Bus Flips Over Railroad Tracks Resulting in 1 Fatal Over 20 Injuries
Bakersfield, United States - July 02, 2025 07/02/2025 11:16 am GMT-0700 LANCASTER, Calif. – A single bus rollover crash occurred at approximately 11:16 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2, at the intersection of Sierra Highway and Avenue C. Emergency responders from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the Los Angeles County Fire Department, and Kern County first responders rushed to the scene. The bus, which was traveling northbound to Rosamond, rolled over, resulting in over 20 injuries ranging from minor to critical. One 8-year-old child suffered blunt head trauma. The circumstances surrounding the crash are currently under investigation.
