On July 1, in Liuzhou City, Guangxi, a woman named Xue was attempting to park at a Liuyi chain hotel when she mistakenly pressed the gas pedal instead of the brake, causing her vehicle to lose control and crash into the hotel lobby.

The car smashed through the hotel’s first-floor glass doors and drove straight into the lobby. The sudden crash startled two men sitting on a sofa, who jumped up in shock to avoid injury.

The accident resulted in damage to the vehicle, the hotel’s glass doors, sofas, and other property. One hotel guest sustained minor superficial injuries.

According to relevant laws and regulations, Xue bears full responsibility for the accident. Compensation for the hotel’s damaged property is currently being processed.
