A shocking incident unfolded in Rewari city, Haryana, on June 28, 2025, when a stray cow viciously attacked a young man on his way to a local park.

The CCTV footage from Sector-4, one of the city’s posh areas, shows the stray cow charging at the youth, Anshul, from behind, knocking him off his bike. As Anshul tried to flee on foot, the cow chased him into a nearby empty plot and trampled him for nearly five minutes.

Hearing Anshul’s desperate cries, several local residents rushed to rescue him, but the aggressive cow also charged at them. Eventually, the group managed to drive the animal away and bring Anshul to safety. He was taken to a private hospital for treatment and later discharged after receiving primary care.

The incident has once again highlighted the growing problem of stray cattle in the city. Despite the municipal council’s claims of having captured around 1,300 stray animals in the past four months, such attacks continue to terrorize residents. Several people have reportedly lost their lives in similar stray animal incidents across Rewari.
