Exclusive- Territory Day firework misfire nearly lights up an unlucky camper
Territory Day is known for its DIY firework celebrations, and Instagram bloggers Tom and Tayla got a fiery taste of that tradition when one of their first fireworks launched straight toward Tayla, then veered toward their truck camper Fiona, and nearly landed on a neighbor’s rooftop tent.
The couple, who are touring Australia in their self-built camper, shared the moment online, noting that the firework looked “small and innocent”—but with no instructions, they were left guessing how it would behave.
Luckily, no one was hurt, and the rest of their Territory Day celebration went off without a hitch.
