US, Bakersfield: Bakersfield Officer Involved Shooting Investigation With Sound On Tape
Bakersfield, United States - July 04, 2025 07/03/2025 08:15 pm GMT-0700 BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – An officer-involved shooting was reported at the Walmart on Gosford Road, south of White Lane. Initial calls were received at 8:15 p.m. Thursday for a report of an assault. Officers arrived, and shortly after, an officer-involved shooting occurred. One person was transported from the scene with a gunshot wound or wounds. The individual’s condition is unknown. The Bakersfield Police Department responded and is investigating the incident. The scene was secured, and Walmart was closed.
