US, Los Angeles: Boyle Heights Fatal Truck Pinned Under Bridge on 10 Freeway
Los Angeles, United States - July 05, 2025 07/05/2025 01:02 am GMT-0700 BOYLE HEIGHTS, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – A traffic collision requiring extrication occurred early Saturday morning at the interchange of the northbound Interstate 5 and eastbound Interstate 10 in Boyle Heights. The California Highway Patrol reported that a dark blue pickup truck had crashed and ended up wedged under a freeway bridge. Eyewitnesses reported that the vehicle may have left the roadway during the incident. A hard closure was established for the northbound 5 to eastbound 10 transition to ensure safety during the extrication process. The driver of the truck was pronounced deceased at the scene.
