Phoenix, United States - July 05, 2025 07/04/2025 11:17 pm GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Firefighters from the cities of Phoenix and Glendale responded to reports of a house fire near the 4100 block of West Townley Avenue at approximately 11:17 p.m. Crews arrived to find an exterior fire in an alleyway behind a residence that was extending to a backyard casita. Phoenix crews deployed handlines to the alley and began working to extinguish the exterior fire while Glendale fire crews made their way to the backyard, forcing entry into the casita for interior attack. Knockdown of the fire was achieved minutes later, followed by complete fire control. Nearby illegal firework activity is suspected as the cause of the blaze, and fire investigators are working to confirm the source of the fire. It is unknown if any occupants have been displaced. No injuries have been reported.
