US, Los Angeles: Van Nuys LAFD Ambulance Side Swiped on 405 Freeway While Transporting Patient
Los Angeles, United States - July 04, 2025 07/04/2025 01:45 am GMT-0700 VAN NUYS, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – An LAFD rescue ambulance was involved in a secondary collision on the 405 South at Roscoe Boulevard while transporting a patient from an earlier traffic crash. The ambulance was side-swiped by another vehicle during transport. No firefighters were injured in the incident. The patient was already en route to a local hospital at the time of the second crash. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is investigating the collision.
