Wild horses appeared alongside young grooms following a traditional dancing ceremony during the event. As part of the festival, wild horses that roam freely in the mountains are rounded up by locals and brought to the village, where they undergo a ceremonial "taming" process called "Curro," during which their manes are trimmed. Dating back to the 15th century, the festival - also known as ‘Aloitadores’ - takes place every July in Sabucedo village, bringing hundreds of local and international visitors together.
