GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE - JULY 6, 2025: Funerals were held outside Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza on Sunday, July 6, for at least 25 Palestinians, including children, killed in overnight Israeli airstrikes across the besieged enclave. Families gathered in the hospital yard before funeral prayers as they bid farewells to their loved ones. At least 41 Palestinians, including children, were killed on Sunday in a series of Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip, according to medical sources and local reports. Israel’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip since October 2023, killed at least 57,418 Palestinians, the Health Ministry said on Sunday. The Israeli army resumed its attacks on the Gaza Strip on March 18 and has since killed 6,860 people and injured 24,220 others, shattering a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement that took hold in January. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
