This is the heartwarming moment a driver saved a child who fell from a bus, before reuniting him with his family.

Dashcam footage shows the toddler falling out of a window of the public transport on the outer lane of Joglo toll road in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The child can be seen rolling across the asphalt, nearly hit by a hatchback on June 30.

Upon seeing this, the silver car immediately swerved to the inner lane, preventing a collision with the unconscious boy.

The kindhearted driver behind abruptly stopped and carried the toddler into his car before chasing after the bus.

Moments later, he veered to the other side of the highway upon seeing a group of passengers outside the vehicle and handed the visibly weakened youngster to his worried parents.

The family can be seen thanking him with gestures. The driver then continued on his way.

Police Commissioner Dhanar Dono said: 'We have checked the scene and verified the identity of the driver. Fortunately, the child did not suffer serious injuries.'
