US, Los Angeles: Santa Clarita Shooting Investigation
Los Angeles, United States - July 07, 2025 07/06/2025 08:10 pm GMT-0700 SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a reported shooting that prompted a tactical response at a Santa Clarita residence Sunday evening. The incident was first reported shortly after 8 p.m. when 911 callers reported hearing screams followed by gunfire at a home in the 19200 block of Green Mountain Drive near Golden Valley Road. Deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station quickly staged in the area, donning tactical gear and developing a response plan. Authorities used a loudspeaker to issue commands to those inside the home. After several audible callouts, two people — a man and a woman — exited the residence. Deputies confirmed that no one was struck by gunfire during the incident. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the call. At this time, the incident remains classified as a shooting.
