US: South San Gabriel River Swells To Unseen Heights In Georgetown After Storm
Georgetown, United States - July 05, 2025 Scott McDowell shared a video showing the rising floodwaters of the South San Gabriel River in Georgetown. The video was recorded on July 6th at 12:45 PM near the Austin Avenue Bridge. Scott said, “South San Gabriel River in Georgetown, Texas today by the Austin Avenue Bridge. We’ve never seen it this high before.” At the time, the river was about to crest at 33 feet, a significant and rare level. The video captures the powerful force of the river swollen by recent storms.
