Be'er Sheva, Israel - July 07, 2025 An indictment has been filed against a 45-year-old man from Tel Sheva, accused of stealing 104 tons of pistachios valued at over 2 million shekels during Operation "Rising Lion." According to the investigation by Israel Police’s Southern District (Yamar South), the suspect conspired with unknown accomplices, used a forged vehicle, and broke into a factory in Be’er Sheva after disabling its security cameras. A large portion of the stolen goods was recovered and returned to the rightful owners. Israeli police stated they will continue to combat theft and protect the property of citizens with determination.
