Hero vet runs back into earthquake to save stricken pooch
This is the heartwarming moment a heroic vet ran back into an earthquake to save a stricken pooch in Turkey.
CCTV footage from a clinic shows people fleeing as a 4.2 magnitude quake rocks the building in Bursa on July 1.
Instead of escaping, the doctor rushed back to evacuate a golden retriever sitting in a treatment room hooked up to an IV drip.
The vet, not named in local media, takes the dog in one hand and the drip in the other and leads the unwell canine and its owner to safety.
The city had already been hit by a 3.9 magnitude quake just one hour earlier.
Although the tremors caused widespread panic, there were no reports of casualties or significant damage.
Bursa lies near the North Anatolian Fault, one of the most active earthquake zones in the world.
