GAZA, PALESTINE - JULY 8, 2025: Four Palestinians, including a mother and her infant, were killed when an Israeli aircraft struck a house in Tel al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City, Al-Shifa Hospital said. In a separate genocidal attack, six more people lost their lives when Israeli forces shelled a tent sheltering displaced civilians in al-Rimal neighborhood of Gaza City, a medical source said. Footage from the aftermath shows grieving relatives bidding farewell to their loved ones, including the slain infant. The Israeli army escalated airstrikes in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, killing at least 34 more Palestinians, medics said. Since October 2023, Israel’s ongoing genocide in the besieged Gaza Strip has killed over 57,600 Palestinians — the majority of them women and children. The relentless assault has devastated the enclave, triggering widespread food shortages and the rapid spread of disease. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
