This is the nerve-wracking moment a group of motorcycle riders navigated a terrifying 6,000ft high, narrow road.

Footage shows motorists carefully manoeuvring the concreted road at Ma Pi Leng Pass in Ha Giang, Vietnam on July 9.

The terrain has a breathtaking mountain view, with a sheer, rugged rock face on the right side of the road and a vertiginous, plunging cliff on the left.

The filmer said: 'The road to get into the mountain is quite arduous and difficult. People can only drive a motorbike for a short distance, which is the small Ma Pi Leng Pass. They would have to walk for 5 km if they don't have the guts to navigate this road.'

Ma Pi Leng Pass is considered one of the most dangerous mountain passes in Vietnam because to its narrow width, sharp bends, and steep drops.

The road clings precariously to cliffs that rise and fall sharply, often without guardrails, making it especially hazardous during wet or foggy conditions.

Over the years, there have been several incidents of accidents and falls, mostly involving motorcycles losing traction or control on the winding path.
