Organized by the Avaaz platform under the theme “Look into the eyes of Gaza’s children,” the demonstration featured 10 large-format images of children from Gaza placed in front of the parliament building. Christoph Schott, Avaaz Germany Director, called for stronger action from the German government, stating: “That’s exactly why we are here – to remind people that children in Gaza are just like ours, like those in Germany, Europe, or Israel. Things need to change. Perspectives need to change. The government must do more than just listen to criticism.”
