US, Los Angeles: Vermont Square Hit-and-Run Auto vs Pedestrian
Los Angeles, United States - July 09, 2025 07/08/2025 11:00 pm GMT-0700 VERMONT SQUARE, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – A traffic collision involving a pedestrian occurred in the Vermont Square neighborhood on Tuesday evening. Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department's 77th Division responded to the scene, located near the intersection of West Vernon Avenue and South Vermont Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male pedestrian lying on the roadway with head trauma. He was transported to the hospital by the Los Angeles Fire Department, although his condition remains unknown. The vehicle that struck the pedestrian fled the scene.
