Numerous streets and neighborhoods were submerged as the downpour overwhelmed drainage systems, leaving residents struggling to move through waterlogged roads. Emergency teams are working to manage the situation and address the disruptions caused by the severe weather. The rainy monsoon season typically lasts from June to September in Pakistan and India. According to reports in early July, at least 63 people were killed and more than 100 others injured in rain-related incidents across Pakistan since June 26, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) said.
