This is the dramatic moment an advertising board was blown down the street by a storm in China.

Footage shows the large maroon advert standee featuring an image of buildings being swept along the walkway by powerful gusts of wind amid heavy rain in Fujian.

It can be seen bumping into a street corner before toppling over on July 8.

That evening, Typhoon Danas made a second landfall in Wenzhou, Zhejiang, worsening the already unstable weather conditions along Fujian's coast.

Danas had made landfall in Taiwan on June 6 evening, killing two people and injuring more than 500 as it battered the island's western coast.

One person was crushed by a falling tree while driving, and another died after a power cut caused his respirator to malfunction.

Authorities said the Danas knocked down power to almost 700,000 homes and disrupted more than 300 domestic and international flights.
