This is the shocking moment a fridge startled workers when it suddenly exploded in an office.

CCTV footage shows two employees inside a room in Guangdong, China on July 10.

One woman can be seen working at her computer while her colleague prepares coffee in the break room.

Moments later, the refrigerator placed near the entrance door burst, sending the freezer door flying to the floor and causing items on top to topple over.

A thick mist, likely from the ice inside, billowed into the air as the employees stood in shock, covering their ears from the loud blast.

Upon hearing the explosion, another worker entered the room to investigate. No one was injured in the incident.

The company said they contacted after-sales service to report the issue.
