This is the shocking moment a waitress slipped on an oily kitchen floor, sending a bowl of soup crashing down.

CCTV footage shows the woman in a red shirt carrying a hotpot toward the counter when she lost her footing in Shantou, China.

She can be seen tumbling to the floor as red soup spills onto her clothes on July 3. Her colleague, who was cooking nearby, rushed to help by holding both of her hands.

The visibly distressed woman can be seen with her legs awkwardly spread while screaming as she feels the heat from the hot soup.

Another employee sprinted into the kitchen, followed by their manager, to assist her in standing up.

The woman reportedly only sustained body aches from the mishap.
