US, Los Angeles: Vermont Knolls Man Injured in Shooting

Los Angeles, United States - July 11, 2025 07/10/2025 11:15 pm GMT-0700 VERMONT KNOLLS, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Los Angeles Police Department 77th Division units responded to reports of a shooting near the intersection of Manchester and Vermont. Officers learned that a male had been shot in the leg and that an unknown suspect was chasing a white vehicle while opening fire on the driver. The vehicle drove around the area before returning to the intersection of Manchester and Vermont. Upon arrival, officers located the male victim with a gunshot wound to the leg. The Los Angeles Fire Department transported him to a hospital for treatment. Officers also discovered a white BMW with at least one bullet hole in the rear window. The female driver was seen speaking with officers and was visibly upset. At the scene, at least 16 shell casings were found on Vermont Street. As of now, there is no information regarding the suspect.
