BEVERLY, Mass. — After 29 years of dedicated service, Officer Stephen “Cheech” Cecchini received his final call over the radio Friday morning—delivered by none other than his daughter, Officer Amanda (Cecchini) Guanci.

The touching moment marked the end of Officer Cecchini’s nearly three-decade career with the Beverly Police Department. Surrounded by fellow officers, friends, and family, Cecchini was honored for his long-standing commitment to the community and the department.
