Los Angeles, United States - July 13, 2025 07/12/2025 10:46 pm GMT-0700 WEST ADAMS, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Los Angeles Police Department Southwest Division units responded to reports of a shooting victim at a Chevron gas station in the 2500 block of South La Brea Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found a male unresponsive inside a vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Initial reports indicate that four other Hispanic males were in the same vehicle as the victim. They allegedly carried out a drive-by shooting on a rival gang member at the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Rimpau Boulevard. During the incident, it is believed that one of the victim's accomplices in the vehicle accidentally shot him in the head; however, this information remains unconfirmed. The victim's accomplices were taken into custody at the scene. No further information was immediately available.
