Swift Water Rescue at Bosque River in Texas Ends Without Injuries

MCGREGOR, Texas — First responders conducted a successful swift water rescue on the morning of July 13 at the Bosque River crossing on Indian Trail.

McGregor Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched at 6:25 a.m. to assist in the rescue, joining crews from Waco Fire Department, McGregor Police, McLennan County Sheriff's Office, and Coryell Health ambulance service.

The stranded individual was safely rescued using a swift water boat operated by Waco Fire personnel. No injuries were reported. Officials continue to remind the public of the dangers of attempting to cross flooded roadways.
