This is the hilarious moment a cow crashed a family's holiday picnic.

The farm animal caused chaos when it trampled on the tourists' spread while they were having lunch at the idyllic Kawa-Kawa Hill in Albay, the Philippines.

Footage shows the girls screaming and laughing as the bovine, which broke free from its tether, tried to steal some of their snacks on July 5.

They scrambled to save their meals as the stubborn animal continued sniffing at the packs of junk food.

Visitor Queenie Sazon Palencia said: 'We were arranging the food and snacks for our picnic when, out of nowhere, a cow suddenly came near us. We didn't even notice it at first, so we were all surprised.

'Everyone started grabbing our Jollibee meals, trying to keep them safe, while others were trying to shoo the cow away.

'I thought of recording the moment because I wanted to capture this unexpected and unforgettable picnic experience. Maybe the cow was curious or was attracted by the smell of the Jollibee Chickenjoy, that's probably why it came over. It was a funny and memorable moment we'll definitely laugh about for a long time.'
