Phoenix, United States - July 13, 2025 07/13/2025 01:15 pm GMT-0700 GLENDALE, Ariz. – A multi-agency response was activated Sunday afternoon to combat a semi-truck trailer fire near Glen Harbor Boulevard and Glendale Road. Firefighters arrived to find multiple trailers fully engulfed in flames just after 1 p.m. Approximately 30 minutes into the firefighting efforts, crews discovered that hazardous chemicals were involved in the blaze. This finding prompted a rapid adjustment in the response, prompting agencies from across the valley to assist. The fire is currently under investigation to determine its cause. Units remained at the scene to monitor for hot spots and await the arrival of fire investigators.
